About

IMG_0626_3Hi. My name is Ed, and I decided to add this About Us page because people often ask who I am and how I came to build a website about The Herpes Talk. They are often surprised to learn that creating this site has been a truly rewarding experience and sincerely a labor of love and joy.

First, please let me share a little of my background with you.

My personal experiences living with genital herpes began nearly 20 years ago when I was exposed and contracted the herpes simplex virus while in a monogamous relationship with a woman who didn’t inform me of her condition.

She took away my choice.

Over the years I have experienced almost every physical and emotional situation in regards to the herpes virus.  But it wasn’t until I was suddenly thrust into single life again that I too was faced with having The Herpes Talk.  I was terrified!

But I began to take notice of the emotional harm the Herpes Talk was having on other single people.  People whom before being diagnosed, had the world by the tail and blazing a trail with their hair on fire!  Those same people who were once extremely self-confident were now reduced to merely a shell of their prior self.

This saddened me greatly and I set out on a journey to learn everything I could about how to make having the Herpes Talk easier.  It was hard but I quickly learned that it doesn’t have to be a struggle.  I read all that I could and joined several herpes forums where it was clear that I was not alone in my quest to make it easier and less stressful.

I was able to learn a tremendous amount of information about herpes and many psychological tips and tactics that make having The Herpes Talk nothing more than a formality. I was able to develop the skills to improve my self confidence.  I learned many ways to better myself and create an irresistible attraction for nearly any woman that I wanted.  After a short while, I was able to tell anybody about herpes.

So, in order to give back to all my Herpes Brothers and Sisters, I decided to share my knowledge and help others who are still struggling.  I wanted to help people learn how to tell someone you have herpes without feeling the pain of being rejected.   Without the fear and embarrassment of telling someone you like about herpes.

Although I had a vision of how I wanted to provide my information, I had absolutely no knowledge of how to do it.  In short, my passion for helping people deal with herpes overcame my fears of creating a website and thus The Herpes Talk was born!

My core beliefs in overcoming the emotional and physical affects of the herpes talk is to arm people with as much information as possible.  Yea, I’m a military man so that’s how I think.  In order to conquer your fears about having The Herpes Talk, you have to know everything that you can about the virus.  You have to know its strengths.  You have to know its weaknesses.  It’s only then can you begin to exploit and take advantage of them and effectively combat the virus.  That’s why my website is loaded with free information.  KNOWLEDGE IS POWER.

This website is providing you with the POWER.  It’s up to you to use it!

May I ask a small favor?

If you found the herpes information on this website helpful, please pay it forward by sharing it with others. My purpose in building this site was to give people free access to information to help them fight the herpes simplex virus and overcome their fears of being rejected and embarrassed.  By pointing others to this site, you’ll be helping them too.

And if you own a website or a blog, you can easily refer people to The Herpes Talk  website by adding a link.  It takes only a moment or two, and your visitors will be ever so grateful. They will get to benefit from the information they find here, and they will return to your site knowing they can always count on you to provide them with helpful information.

Thanks For Recommending My Website!

Feel free to contact me using the Contact Page if you need to talk.  I always enjoy hearing from the visitors of this site. I will usually check and respond to my messages within 24 hours or sooner. You no longer have to be scared.  You no longer have to be embarrassed.  Together we’ll get you through it and you’ll be better than ever!

Wishing You Success and Happiness!
